Allende (CV3.2)

These slices all came from the same block which I acquired from the Elbert King estate. The block was somewhat odd-shaped, but featured nice crust on two sides. What appealed to me most was how fresh the material is, and the quality of the inclusions. This is VERY nice stuff! All pieces have been nicely polished and show no saw marks. All are much nicer than the photos show!

Great surface to weight. Slice tapers slightly, but REAL nice for its size

57x43x2mm (at widest points)

Another very thin slice, with a pretty cool shape. A bit of crust and great white inclusion.

60x43x4mm

Very busy slice with two crusted edges. Nice and solid. The best of the lot.

SOLD

36.3g
60x43x4.5mm

This piece is the sister slice to the one above. Just as nice, really.

SOLD

60x44x5.5mm

Best crust of all. Plenty of chondrules of varying sizes.

41.5g (Side 'A')
59x43x4-6mm

Great display side, the best of all the offering. The per gram on this one is the lowest, however, because of the backside (below).

 SOLD

 41.5g (Side'B')

This was the outside of the block. As you can see, there was a big chop. From what I understand, this was the last piece of this meteorite Dr. King cut.
