Winona (AWIN)  2.1g partslice

$1000

Winona is the type-specimen of the Winonaites, a group of achondrites separated by their high iron content.  A single stone was found in an ancient Indian burial tomb in 1924. Upon its removal it shattered and appproximately 24kg of pieces were recovered. A rare type meteorite with a great history makes Winona a very desired (and expensive) find.

This is a nice piece-thick enough to be sturdy, big enough to be enjoyed.
